About the Team:
At Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), our third-party partners and developers are critical to making PlayStation the best place to play. To support them, the Global Technology Information Group is tasked with delivering world-class content to them to make the games and services they deliver the best they can be.
This role is focused on supporting the Global Technology Information Group by creating and managing tools and processes that assist with developing and delivering world-class documentation content.
What You'll Be Doing:
- The Global Technology Information Group is looking for an intern to assist us with a number of key projects that will push the capabilities of documentation teams to the next level.
- As a Documentation Tools Intern, you will have opportunities to develop tools and processes that optimize and streamline the creation of XML based documentation and transform it into user-friendly deliverables (HTML, PDF, etc.). You will also have opportunities with researching and modeling generative AI applications to assist in the process of producing and editing world-class technical content.
What We're Looking For:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2026.

Majoring in Computer Science (highly preferred) or a related field.

2+ years of experience in C#, C++, Java or similar Object-Oriented programming language

Able to work independently after being given a task; self-starter with strong sense of ownership for your work

Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

Can work with others and has a willingness to educate others; able to easily distill information to be shared with others
Preferred Skills:
-
Practical knowledge of generative AI including its concepts and configuration

Knowledge of frontend and backend website development
Eligibility:
-
Able to work full-time (2-3 days a week) in our San Diego, CA office or fully remote during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 17th - September 5th.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
