The University of Notre Dame Student Health and Wellness area in the Division of Student Affairs is currently hiring for the position of On-Call/Temporary Office Assistant. Student Health and Wellness supports wellness through premiere services, resources, and education to promote the development of healthy students and to foster campus well-being. Centers, offices, and initiatives that help this area to achieve its mission include the Center for Student Support and Care, the University Counseling Center (UCC), University Health Services (UHS), and the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being. All offices coordinate services to best serve students, no matter where they first seek care.
The On-Call/Temporary Office Assistant will provide a welcoming, efficient, and helpful environment for students, staff, faculty, and community members who visit, call, or email the Center for Student Support and Care and the McDonald Center for Student Well-being.
- Serve as a representative for the office, responding to calls, visitors, and inquiries.
- Manage office logistics, including mailings, supply orders, record keeping, and database updates.
- Provide administrative support to the leadership, including calendar management, and other office support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned and needed by the office.

- Proficiency in internet, email, and business software (Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced word processing).
Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in office administration is preferred, but not required.
