Job Summary
Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) plays a role in the success of Michigan Medicine by providing clinicians, educators, researchers, students, and staff with technology-related information, products, and support. HITS also provides institutional expertise related to IT strategy, security, infrastructure, and resource management.
HITS is seeking a business analyst to join our MiChart (Epic) Research Application team. You will work closely with faculty, clinical research coordinators, and administrators to plan, design, develop, implement, and maintain the electronic health record at Michigan Medicine (MiChart) in support of clinical research. Your abilities and expertise in research and information systems enable you to bring together disparate ideas into a cohesive system solution and support end-users to ensure successful study outcomes. You will report directly to the manager for MiChart Research within the Academic IT Division of HITS.

The MiChart Research Team is a part of the Academic IT Division in HITS. Academic IT serves both the education and research communities at the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS). We engage faculty, students, and staff to provide a holistic portfolio of software and applications, infrastructure, device support, and custom projects to promote innovation and excellence.

Background Screening
