The Pulte Institute for Global Development, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs, combines Notre Dame’s world-class faculty with a dedicated team of international development professionals to address global poverty and inequality through policy, practice, and partnership.
The Part-Time Administrative Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to the Pulte Institute Manager and leadership. This role includes managing daily operations, coordinating events and visitors, and assisting with various office and administrative tasks.
What Will You Do?
Guest and Event Coordination
- Assist in organizing logistics for visitors and coordinating events on and off campus.
- For certain grant programs, oversee international travel arrangements, visa processes, and pre-departure preparations for faculty and students traveling to developing countries.
Office Operations
- Serve as a representative for the Pulte Institute, responding to calls, visitors, and inquiries.
- Manage office logistics, including mailings, supply orders, record keeping, and database updates.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Institute Manager and leadership, including calendar management, meeting minutes, and follow-up.
- Assist with travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, and the creation of presentations and correspondence.

- Exceptional English writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in internet, email, and business software (Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced word processing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in office administration or study abroad/global development-related programs is preferred, but not required.
