Job Summary
The Health Sciences Division is accepting applications for the Spring 2025 semester for part-time instructors in the Health Information Technology program, specifically in the Medical Billing and Coding program. There are a variety of classes offered each semester on the topics of medical terminology, medical coding, pharmacology, and billing. Most courses are taught online, so experience teaching in an online environment is preferred.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Flexibility for teaching courses offered day, evening, and online.
- Instructional expertise to deliver instruction for 21st century learners and assess student learning outcomes as appropriate to ensure academic quality.
- Facility with a range of teaching and learning strategies to foster active learning and student success, which contributes to the fulfillment of the College’s strategic goals.
- Willingness to participate in activities or on college committees that contribute to the success of students.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 2,000 hours related work experience, OR Associate of Applied Science with 6,000 hours of related work experience combined with sufficient additional documentation to satisfy section IV of the Kishwaukee College Faculty Credentials Manual.

Ability to stand and lecture for extended periods of time.
