Responsibilities*

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will provide office and administrative support. Answer telephone and route calls. Greet visitors. Coordinate travel arrangements, schedule meetings, manage calendars and reconcile monthly credit card statements. Manage and distribute incoming mail. Maintain supply inventory, ensure supplies are stocked, and office spaces are prepared for visitors and staff. Prepare weekly agendas and assist with other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications*

High school diploma or an equivalent education is necessary. At least two (2) year's experience in performing responsible office duties is necessary. Experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel as well as Google Mail and calendaring. Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively, take initiative, and interact effectively with staff and visitors.

Desired Qualifications*

Knowledge of M-Pathways financial system, Chrome River, and University policies, procedures and regulations.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Onsite work is required during the first 6 months of employment. Upon satisfactory performance during the first six months a hybrid work arrangement may be an option. Hybrid work requires employees to be onsite at least 50% of the month.
