Job Summary

The Survey Research Center ( SRC ) at the Institute for Social Research ( ISR ) is an international leader in international interdisciplinary social science research involving the collection and analysis of data, especially data from scientific sample surveys. SRC conducts some of the most widely cited and influential studies in the world.

To maintain this status, we rely on the dedication and talents of our outstanding staff who provide complex administrative support for our research grants and projects. We are expanding the SRC Director's Office (SRC DO) with the Services, Training, Administration and Research Team (START). START members will provide support to the research programs and faculty within SRC. You can find more information about the programs and faculty the START supports here . This position will report to the SRC Business Administration Manager. The Financial Specialist will liaise with SSC, SRC Finance team, University Procurement and other central offices.

Work Locations

Flexible work guidelines for this SRC Director's Office position is 100% in-office for the training period. After completing the training period, the guidelines are 80% onsite, 4 days in the office and 20% remote, 1 day.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
