The Head Coach for Men’s Basketball is responsible for working with the Assistant Women’s
Basketball Coach in coaching the highly competitive men’s basketball program, recruiting student
athletes, assisting in coordinating practices, travel, as well as promoting events and activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head Coach is responsible for the assisting and coordination of all aspects of the
Women’s Basketball Program. Tasks such as scheduling, purchasing, inventory of
equipment, budgeting of program expenses, maintaining of intent letters along with any
other NIAC filings, updating of stats within NIAC website, and any other duties needed
within the program
Coaching and conducting of all practice sessions for scheduled games.
Responsible for coordinating of all fundraising activities for the Women’s Basketball
Responsible for submitting all updated player and team stats to NIAC Websites
throughout the basketball season.
The overseeing of student-athletes’ academic progress, while coordinating mandatory
study sessions with coaching staff.
Responsible for active recruitment of student-athletes for the Women’s Basketball
Must comply with the policies and procedures set forth by NHSC, NIAC, and AIHEC.
Must be able to maintain discipline of student athletes.
Responsible for the transportation of student athletes to and from scheduled events when

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a working knowledge of Women’s Basketball, and have previous coaching
experience and/or collegiate playing experience.
Must have experience in prevention and care of athletic injuries.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
An acceptable motor vehicle record with a valid commercial driver’s license or the ability to
obtain one upon hire. A copy will need to be submitted upon application.
Work is primarily performed on a basketball court, classroom or office setting under general
supervision and with appropriate climate controls. Travel, early morning, evening, and weekend
work is required.
