Under the direction of the Food Panty and Soup Kitchen Coordinators, the clerk will assist with service, receipt of shipments, restocking of items, and quality control.
-Assist with receiving deliveries of food, supplies, equipment, and clothing donations
-Assist with serving guests in a professional and respectful manner
-Pack orders and replenish shelves as needed
-Keep facilities clean in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations
-Ensure operation is compliant with all Archdiocese, NIFB, local, county, state, and federal laws and guidelines
-Promote the food pantry and soup kitchen in a positive manner to the broader community
-All other duties as assigned
-High School graduate, GED, or equivalent
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
-Skill in verbal and written communication
-Ability to plan and organize multiple work tasks
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Posses a “Service Mindset” when working and serving with others
-Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
