The Program in African American and African Diaspora Studies at the University of North Carolina Greensboro seeks a Tenure Track Assistant Professor with a start date of August 1, 2021. We welcome applicants who conduct research in any area of African American and African Diasporic studies; preference will be given to candidates with a PhD or equivalent terminal degree with expertise in African American and/or African Diaspora Studies and related fields.

Candidate must hold or anticipate PhD or equivalent terminal degree by start date of August 1, 2021.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence as a scholar-teacher, and publication of scholarly research is desirable. Teaching experience is preferred.
