- High school graduation and at least seven years of related experience involving duties of increasing responsibility requiring discretion and independent judgment, or Associate’s Degree and five years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience, or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to seven years.
- Advanced computer skills, including e-mail and calendars, spreadsheets, database and website management, use of search engines, presentations, and other software applications.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in a college/university work environment
- Advanced proficiency in computer software programs (Microsoft Office suite; Adobe, mail merge, DRUPAL, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Experience with university-wide programs (e.g., Banner, Workday, WEBI, Time and Room, Canvas, My Courses, etc.).

- Manage administrative needs of the 2 undergraduate programs, and 2 graduate programs, 4 program coordinators, faculty, and department chair:
- Coordinate internal and external communications.
- Coordinate course scheduling using Time & Room, update course catalog, and administer curriculum revision processes.
- Support accreditation and faculty promotion processes.
- Manage department records and materials.
- Maintain department website and other outreach media.
- Coordinate department faculty meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Hire, train and supervise department work study student(s).
Duty/Responsibility
- Support student recruitment, applications, and advising processes.
- Provide a welcoming first contact for prospective and current students and faculty by phone, email and in-person. Coordinate campus tours and visits for the department.
- Serve as liaison between department and the UNH Registrar’s office and Graduate school. Collaborate closely with other CHHS department staff and Dean’s office staff.
- Oversee student course registration and petition processes.
- Monitor major counts and course enrollments through WEBI and Banner reports.
- Adhere to legal requirements and regulations, such as HIPAA and FERPA.
Duty/Responsibility
- Manage procurement, hiring, supplemental pay, and reimbursement processes for the department. Order and distribute office supplies, computer equipment and meetings supplies.
- Coordinate travel and events for the for the department.
- Manage physical space, building inquiries and needs, and IT needs, serving as liaison to UNH ET&S, Housekeeping, Buildings and Grounds
