As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns organizational objectives with employees and management in designated service lines and business units. The HRBP serves as a customer-focused consultant to management on HR-related issues, acts as an employee champion and enacts meaningful changes to continuously improve the organization. Their business literacy and specific knowledge of their designated business unit’s performance, financial position, strategic plans, and team culture positions the HRBP as an important change agent.
 
The HRBP is a skilled problem-solver and strategic thinker. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of M Physicians as we continue to grow and evolve! The HRBP maintains a high level of expertise on all major Human Resources functional areas such as employee relations, staffing/recruiting, benefits, training and development, organization development, compensation and rewards management, diversity, labor relations, and Workday (HRIS.)
 
 
What you will do as an HR Business Partner:
  • Developing relationships with business unit leaders to understand their business and goals and provide informed counsel to best achieve their objectives.
  • Investigating and resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Providing mentorship on management best practices, workforce planning, training needs, and work climate issues; Identifying and providing additional support resources to drive solution implementation.
  • Leading business unit performance management processes by counseling leaders to ensure quality, useful feedback is delivered, and high-potential employees are identified.
  • Working closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, increase engagement, enhance efficiency, and improve retention.
  • Leading and participating in strategic and process improvement projects that elevate HRBP services.
  • Serving as primary delivery mechanism for Human Resources programs and processes to the business unit but also serving as the primary referral mechanism from the business to other HR Centers of Excellence.
 
What you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree in HR or related area with HR training and experience.
  • Previous HR generalist or HR specialty experience in several major functions. (Preferred: 3 years’ experience as generalist, business partner, or other similar role)
  • Up to date knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply laws pertaining to HR administration, recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation, attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to initiate and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of due process requirements and expertise in mentoring leaders and employees.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building, problem-solving, and influence skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality under difficult circumstances. Ability to handle situations that may be highly sensitive.
  • Ability to work on a team of peers to collaboratively solve problems and carry out team initiative
