Position Summary:

The Sr. Associate Director of Admissions, Global Executive Master of Business Administration (Global EMBA), reports to the Director of Graduate Admissions and is an integral part of the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment Team. Under the guidance of the Director, the Sr. Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the recruiting, admissions, and scholarship process for the Notre Dame Global Executive MBA program. This position will work in partnership with the Senior Director of Graduate Enrollment and Director of Graduate Admissions to set the overall admissions strategy for each admissions cycle as the team works towards the program enrollment goals and target cohort profiles set in partnership with Mendoza College and Academic Leadership.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing the team of admissions professionals (2-3 staff) for the Global Executive MBA program. S/he is responsible for attracting, retaining and developing talent within the team and implementing management systems to foster a culture of collaboration.
  • Overseeing the admissions and fellowship process including reading and evaluating applications, executing the admissions interview strategy, making admissions and fellowship decisions for the Notre Dame Global Executive MBA program ensuring decisions are timely and accurate, while always staying focused on the enrollment and budget goals and target class profiles.
  • Actively recruit new students by conducting outreach by phone and email campaigns or meeting with candidates in person or via Zoom, represent the Notre Dame Global MBA at domestic recruitment events, and engage current students and alumni. Travel to recruitment events in the US as applicable.
  • Evaluate applications within the Notre Dame Global Executive MBA program and recommend a course of action. Use professional judgment to provide recommendations for fellowship decisions.
  • Working in partnership with the Director of Graduate Admissions to set the prospective student event, recruitment, engagement, and yield strategy for the Notre Dame Global Executive MBA Program. Specifically, develop and execute a travel recruitment strategy for the Global EMBA program.
  • Creating strategy and managing relationships with EMBA and MBA alumni and the Notre Dame alumni clubs, incorporating alumni into admissions events, and creating an alumni referral program. Collaborate with other team members across Mendoza and Notre Dame to ensure best practices.
  • Collaborating across the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment team, Mendoza College of Business and the University of Notre Dame to determine lead generation and admissions best practices.
