Position Overview

Protect life and property, prevent and detect crime on campus, and provide other essential safety and security services. Serve as Patrol Supervisor for the Day Shift. Oversee the Student Employee Program for Public Safety.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Must possess a valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving record. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Minimum of two years of security, military, fire fighting, or law enforcement experience.
• Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of dedication, integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity. 
• Must be able to remain calm and professional under pressure and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Must be willing and able to work non-scheduled and scheduled overtime hours. 
• The completion of a satisfactory background check is required. 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Emergency medical training (i.e. First Responder, EMT) and college degree/courses are preferred. 
• Supervisory experience preferred.
