Colby-Sawyer College is looking for a new colleague to join the Business Administration program in the School of Business and Social Sciences. We seek an innovative, energetic educator to teach courses in any of the following disciplines or combination of disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate level: data mining and computer analytics, project management, and statistics.
Potential courses which may be part of the teaching portfolio based on the candidate’s professional and academic strengths and expertise include, but are not limited to: Business Computing, Quantitative Decision Making (Management Science), and Statistics, Strategic Management (capstone). Expertise in Entrepreneurship and/or Healthcare Administration would be desirable. Evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level and a philosophy of education consonant with Colby-Sawyer’s programs and mission are required. All full-time faculty are expected to contribute to the college’s liberal education program.
This is a fulltime, tenure-track position. A doctoral degree is preferred; a master’s degree is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with professional work experience in a business environment related to the teaching areas. This position includes teaching, advising and departmental and college service responsibilities. This position is available beginning late August 2021.
