Immediate Need: Part-Time Nutrition Faculty
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Nutrition Faculty member to join our team this fall at the Lower Bucks Campus. The Part-time nutrition faculty will plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture format based on the approved course outline by selecting and utilizing a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods that address all learning modalities to ensure that the needs of individual students in need of nutrition education are met.

Campus: Lower Bucks Campus

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 9:25 AM to 10:40 AM

Flexible office hours before and/or after class
Major Job Duties:
-
Is knowledgeable in course development, instruction, and evaluation.

Assess student learning using appropriate methods.

Participating in the assessment process, as appropriate
-
Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course outline.

Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity to concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.

Make arrangements for equipment and supplies, or other activities as needed.

Complete all course assessments as required.

Use technology to enhance teaching/learning in the classroom.

Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline

Maintaining appropriate expertise and competence through continuing professional development
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of work experience or Master’s degree in nutrition health-related field.

Registered Dietitian, licensed in Pennsylvania.
-
1 - 3 years of relevant teaching experience in nutrition at the college level (Community College teaching experience preferred).

Must be willing to teach in a multi-campus modality.
