Principal Responsibilities:
Your Opportunity: As our Executive Director, you will be the driving force behind this exciting new chapter. Responsibilities:
- Visionary Leadership: Partner with the Board of Directors to set a bold vision for VJCC's future, with a focus on youth and family engagement and continuing to expand our current programming for the community.
- Fundraising Powerhouse: Lead fundraising efforts to support our ambitious goals, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and securing sponsorships.
- Program Innovator: Develop and implement cutting-edge programs that resonate with young adults, young families, and children, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.
- Community Builder: Cultivate strong partnerships with local organizations and schools to strengthen our reach and impact.
- Inspirational Leader: Lead and empower a passionate team of staff and volunteers to achieve VJCC's mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading a non-profit or community organization through a period of growth and change.
- Fundraising Expertise: A track record of exceeding fundraising goals and securing major gifts.
- Community Engagement: Experience building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, particularly those serving young families.
- Passion for Jewish Community: A deep understanding of and commitment to Jewish culture, values, and traditions.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively inspire and engage diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Program Development: Experience designing and implementing successful programs for toddlers to adults emphasizing new opportunities for young adults, young families, and children to experience Center Life.
- Marketing & Outreach: Skills in promoting programs and events to target audiences through various channels.
- Financial Management: Knowledge of non-profit financial management, budgeting, and accounting principles.
