Human Resources Manager

About the Role: The Human Resources Manager is a vital part of the organization as this position is a support to all employees regarding Human Resources related concerns. The Human Resource Manager's daily tasks will include but are not limited to labor law compliance, employee benefits, talent acquisition, payroll processing and employee engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, processes and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for open positions
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout the organization
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Provide and maintain a highly qualified and motivated workforce which is responsive to the changing needs of the organization
  • Manage the HRIS platform ensuring employee changes, deductions, terminations, and garnishments are current and up-to-date
  • Conducts new-employee orientations and facilitates onboarding programs
  • Schedule and participate in administrative staff meetings.
  • Work with supervisors to conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are submitted to management
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements
  • Proficient in processing payroll and expense reimbursements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office
  • Efficient in HR Management Software
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as HR Manager or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Must have a demonstrated proficiency and understanding of federal/state labor laws
  • SHRM Certification (preferred)
  • Salary commensurate with experience
