Factory Inspector
Job Description
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform inspection at manufacturing sites to ensure quality and control of the product's safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conduct verification of all key manufacturing points (goods incoming area, quality system, production area, outgoing area) to ensure the product's safety on the market and the usage of the TUV SUD logo
Conduct verification of product's critical components.
Conduct visual and measurement tests
Documents inspection results by completing TUV SUD reports
Complete online annual test to maintain inspector status
Participate to site monitoring to maintain inspector status
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment;
Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills;
Self-starter with a positive outlook and motivated attitude;
Be aware that you are representing TUV SUD and professionalism, integrity and respect must be adhered to at all times during the inspections.
Communicate with the manufacturing staff is a controlled, friendly and professional manner. Including when presenting non conformities.
EDUCATION:
Electrical engineer or equivalent electrical safety testing experience.

10 years experience
