Job Title: Senior HRMS Analyst
Duration: 1+ Months (high possibility of extension)
Location: San Diego, California, 92121 (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Onsite for 4 days per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST

Reports To: Digital People Systems Senior Director, Digital People Systems HR Community of Practice

Job Description:l
This HRMS Analyst role will assist in the management of the applications and processes supporting the Offboarding employee journey. The role ensures an optimized user experience through consistent and efficient administration of employee life cycle practices and reporting interpretation. S/He will continuously review and update current processes and configurations to ensure that best practice methodologies are in place to maximize efficiency and drive employee retention. This position will provide recommendations, implement solutions for special project work, and enhance Client's user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and the HR IT team to identify business requirements and solutions that drive optimization through process, data, and technology.
  • Serve as a primary expert for systems that support Employee Relations and related transactions, processes, and reporting.
  • Leverage analytical tools and contribute to provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
  • Assist in the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features, functionalities, and security for all Offboarding systems.
  • Proactively find inefficiencies in processes, suggest enhancements, and present proposals to leadership which might include Legal.
  • Partner with stakeholders (internal/external to HR) to understand new report/data requirements and ensure results meet the business needs.
  • Maintain working knowledge/experience with HR terminology, policy, and personnel management.
  • Document and maintain functional business requirements and process flows.

Required Skills:
  • Experience partnering with business functions across HR to implement process changes.
  • Experience partnering with IT to explain business requirements and changes needed to systems or integrations.
  • Ability to build PowerPoint slides to explain pros and cons for potential solutions and options.
  • Experience working within HR.
  • Ability to prioritize work and communicate status.

Technologies:
Experience using an ERP system like Workday.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (any field).

Required Years of Experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or related work experience.

  • Decision Making: The ability to prioritize strategic and tactical-level decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and take into account the impact of the decisions on people, equipment, or other resources.
  • Getting Work Done: The ability to be organized, resourceful, and planful. This includes the ability to prioritize tasks and leverage available resources to get things done and lay out tasks in sufficient detail. This also includes the ability to work on multiple tasks at once without losing track and foresee and plan around obstacles.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: The ability to develop, coach, and mentor others. This includes the ability to advise, provide development and network opportunities, and help others achieve performance goals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Client or industry standard HR policies, guidelines, and procedures and expertise of HR specialty areas (e.g., Offboarding) to design and implement HR programs and solutions. This includes knowledge of the business, industry, and state and federal law to enable HR programs that add business value.
