Essential Job Duties

NC State University Libraries is seeking a graduate student from any discipline to support inclusive gaming initiatives and work in and around the Teaching and Visualization Lab at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library. The work will include designing templates, managing the technology, and supporting events in the T&V Lab. It will also include designing promotional materials, assisting with set up/break down, and hosting inclusive game night events.

Work Schedule

Schedule will vary based on the events schedules in T&V and for inclusive game nights, with some work done on the GA's own time between events. Some evenings and weekends will be required.

Graduate student at NC State

Department Required Skills

Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently, familiarity with digital media creation tools such as Google Slides, Adobe suite or similar. 

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Familiarity with gaming in general. Experience working with gaming engines.
