Summary of Position

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University ofNew Hampshire effective August 19, 2024, for a one-year term.

We are seeking individuals with a strong interest and experience in promoting excellence in teaching and service to grow the national and international scholarly reputation of the department. The successful candidate will serve the academic mission of the department as well as with accreditation.


Responsibilities
The Lecturer’s responsibilities include six units of teaching responsibilities and two units of department service activities.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline and have significant academic experience and accomplishments, and an exceptional teaching record. They should possess the intellectual vision and strong collaborative abilities to work with a dynamic and diverse department. They should have a desire to help shape the department’s next stage of
development in academic curricular innovation; student development; and the further enhancement of the department’s national and international scholarly reputation.

Salary Information
