Emergency Trauma Tech - Per Diem - SICU - 129568
Job Description
DESCRIPTIONThe Emergency Trauma Tech works as a team member in the Surgical ICU to assist with vital signs, reassessments, stocking supplies, transporting patients under the direct supervision of the RN. Collects patient care data. Collects, labels and transports specimens. Performs secretarial duties as needed. Assists other teams as needed. May provide for Spanish translation with respect to all operations. Coordinates the schedule for the techs and participates in leadership meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Minimum one (1) year experience as an EMT or CNA in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or critical care setting.
Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills.
Inpatient, acute care experience.
EMT and/or CNA certification.
Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Per diem shift requirement is an average of 1 shift per week per 4-week schedule. Must be available 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule and a minimum of 1 holiday. This is subject to change based on individual department needs.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $64,519 - $64,519 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $30.90 - $30.90
