Introduction:

As Export Control Compliance Framework Team Memberyou will have a thorough understanding of the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Standards (BIS) Export Control Regulations. You will research systematic compliance & reporting solutions for controlling, preventing, and documenting the export of Cymer technologies, ensuring compliance with specified Export Control regulations. As a member of the Export Control Framework Team you will help identify both containment and long term compliance solutions and will assist in or lead the execution of them. Your compliance solutions will, when feasible, have long term solutions capable of integration into ASML solutions.

As the Business Continuity and Risk Management Analyst you help manage the portfolio of business continuity and disaster recovery within CLS with the goal to contain and mitigate high-risk scenarios. You propose and/or evaluate risk mitigation activities, oversee the execution and monitor the effectiveness. Furthermore you will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for different CLS teams and processes. You contribute to the development of relevant strategies, standards and policies. You contribute to the establishment of long term maintenance plans. Peers in your team include all CLS teams needed for collaboration in business continuity and risk management efforts.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategies, policies, standards and tooling for Export Control (EC) & Risk Management for CLS
  • Translate mission, vision, policy and strategy to a priority model for prioritizing and planning EC, BC, and risk related activities
  • Set-up and maintain the risk management and compliance processes
  • Research CLS EC framework solutions and make recommendations based on the feasibility of integration with ASML.
  • Manage the risk management process, execute risk assessments, define mitigation plans and define business continuity plans. Propose risk mitigation activities and business continuity improvements
  • Collaborate with ASML Export Control Framework Team to identify compliance solutions
  • Adopt risk and compliance policies
  • Initiate, coordinate and/or execute risk and compliance assessments and business impact in order to achieve the specifications as set in policies and/or guidelines.
  • Generate, maintain and communicate the business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Create an Export Control Framework and Business Continuity Plan and Handbook to enable ongoing operations before and during execution of disaster recovery
  • Create disaster recovery runbooks for various scenarios
  • Analyze critical business functions and defining the scope and impact of disaster scenarios
  • Document procedures and make presentations and recommendations to senior management
  • Assist with the development of Export Control Framework and documentation
  • Participate in risk assessments and business impact analyses
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment of strategies
  • Respond to incidents and activating continuity plans as needed
  • Assist with the communication to stakeholders during a business disruption

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant business or analytical discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong results-orientated with a corresponding sense of responsibility; directs work and ensures accountability
  • Social skills
  • Able to influence and mobilize workforce, departments and (senior) executives
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with the proven ability to drive results
  • Resilient and able to adapt to significant challenges
  • Highly analytical combined with strong business sense
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office business applications

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $68,625-$114,375. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
