Position Overview:
- Primary Location: Basilica of the Sacred Heart
- Training: Provided for various campus locations including Hesburgh Library, Main and East Entrance Gates, Main Building, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe, protect, patrol, and enforce safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist visitors with directions and information
- Control access, monitor ingress/egress, and secure venues
- Handle keys, conduct walkthroughs, use radio communication, answer phones, monitor CCTV, and complete paperwork
- Report unusual circumstances and respond to emergencies
- Attend mandatory training sessions
- Stay informed about campus events to assist guests
Requirements:
- On-call availability with various days and hours
- Must work early and late hours, some holidays, and home football game Saturdays
- Ability to work up to 900 hours per year

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
- Basilica security monitor shifts include weekday afternoons/evenings as well as weekend days and afternoons.
- Availability to work home football game Saturdays and holidays such as Easter and Christmas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service and/or retail background is preferred.
