Learning and Development Trainer - Credit Union

Job Description

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINER, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to provide learning to develop regulatory knowledge and raise the standard for member experience.  Will perform gap analysis to identify training needs; develop internal references/resources; revise and facilitate new and existing training programs for classroom, virtual, and e-learning, including products and services, compliance, member experience, and new employee orientation; standardize training requests for defining stakeholder objectives and apply instructional design principles to meet industry standards; handle LMS administration, training retention and reporting, and professional development programs; and schedule training, guest speakers, and events and communicate to management.  

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree; four years’ training, facilitation, or organizational development experience; experience working with learning management systems, especially Zensai or Learn365; excellent facilitation, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, active listening, and written and verbal communication skills (including good command of English language and grammar); understanding of instructional design and ability to work with a variety of delivery channels/tools (e.g., authoring tools, classroom, virtual, LMS); advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 (e.g., SharePoint Online, Forms, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); comprehensive understanding of course authoring tools, including Articulate 360 and Camtasia; ability to identify structured and unstructured sources of data, clean data, and assist with analysis using reporting tools (Power BI or PowerQuery); understanding of basic design principles and use of branding; discretion and good judgment with sensitive/confidential information/communications; self-motivation; and attention to detail.  Must be able to deliver training for all levels of an organization, provide constructive feedback, engage learners, work both independently and within a team, multitask, and meet deadlines.  PREFERRED: experience developing training and experience in human resources, credit unions, banks, or other financial services.  Job #24113-8
