The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Part Time Banquet Server at the Morris Inn. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Banquet Server will prepare table service functions as per the direction of the Banquet Captain or lead banquet server, following written specifications provided by the banquet department and events teams. They will participate in equipment removal following meal service, returning food, linen, and supplies to the proper storage location. The Banquet Server will professionally perform banquet functions, serving food, pouring beverages, assisting with coffee breaks, and handling special requests of guests in accordance with the Morris Inn methods and service standards and the University protocols when it come to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time during the shift
- Excellent customer service skills needed in dealing with VIP clientele and with coworkers
