The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations as well as providing support for the professional development of our coaches and staff, all within the role of the greater institutional relationships to the University. This position will support the Division 1A Women’s Golf Team at NC State University that competes within the ACC and NCAA.
Essential Job Duties
Serves as Assistant Women’s Golf Coach. Responsible for the day to day operations of a Division 1 college golf program under the supervision and direction of the Head Coach in the highly competitive ACC.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Assists with coaching, scouting, and recruiting student-athletes.
- Monitors student-athletes academic schedules, training and conditioning and compliance with student-athlete code of conduct.
- Provides administrative assistance and support to the Head Women’s Golf Coach.
- Assists with video and filming.
- Manages home tournament operations alongside Director of Golf Operations.
- Participates in public relations activities.
- Assists with budget preparations and operates within approved budget allocations.
- Schedules and facilitates practices, competitions, and team travel.
- Participates in NC State clinics, exhibitions and camps as needed.
- Assists with donor and past player relationships.
- Promotes an environment that is conducive to player improvement and development at the highest level.
- Engages in ongoing professional development.
- Manages non-traditional work hours.
- Adheres to all ACC,NCAA, NC State Athletics Department and NC State University rules.
- Performs other duties and assists with special projects as assigned by Head Coach and Administrators.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Other Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching, playing and/or tournament administrative experience.
- Must possess excellent computer and technical skills.
- Must be able to work effectively and communicate with all team members and support staff within NC State Athletics and NC State University
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Golf coaching experience desired, preferably in a Division I women’s program.
- Collegiate recruiting experience desired.
- Knowledge and experience in men’s or women’s college golf coaching, playing and/or tournament administration or related field.
Required License(s) or Certification(s)
- Must be able to pass NCAA Recruiting exam annually.
Valid NC Driver's License required
