This position is responsible for coordinating, writing, and delivering data sets and reports of all levels related to the Epic Revenue Cycle; including but not limited to Hospital & Professional Billing and Coding, Health Information Management, Patient Access. Identifying and coordinating data requirements from end-users into technical specifications, organizing the data for reporting, and producing both monthly and ad-hoc reports using business intelligence tools. Involves advanced understanding of data, Epic Clarity Revenue Cycle Data Model, and SQL.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSNine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training. Related Experience: Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or experience with SQL, databases, and Epic.
Professional experience and proven success performing clinical workflows, user interface optimization, clinical decision support, rules development, data integration and mining, clinical ontologies and adoption of technology.
Epic Clarity Certification.
Epic Cogito Certification.
SQL, SSIS, database, Crystal Reports.
Epic Clarity Revenue Cycle Data Model.
Epic Clarity Professional Billing Data Model, and/or Epic Clarity Hospital Billing Data Model.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $48.47 - $92.05
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
