This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote.

DESCRIPTION

The Financial Analyst 5 will have responsibility to support the Medical Center controller on various initiatives related to improvements in revenue recognition and AR valuations. The position will also assist in systems enhancements related to Crowe and other overall improvements in Oracle financial reporting. Will be instrumental in assisting in the development of overall process improvements and department efficiencies to accelerate both the monthly GL closes and also year-end reporting. Understanding of healthcare revenue and government reimbursement a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Eleven (11) years of related experience, education/training, OR Advanced degree in related area plus seven (7) years of related experience/training. Related experience: Healthcare accounting, Government Medicare reimbursement and Monthly general ledger close experience.

  • Experience and proven knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Healthcare revenue and reimbursement experience.

  • Strong Accounting background in Healthcare.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $48.47 - $92.05

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
