NURSING PROGRAM COORDINATOR

The Nursing Program Coordinator position is Open Until Filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team.

As a Full-Time Classified Nursing Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the daily coordination and organization of the Nursing Program within Allied Health, including Registered Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Nursing Assistant. This position works closely with the Executive Director of Nursing and Allied Health to achieve departmental goals and meet the college's mission. The Nursing Program Coordinator must have outstanding communication, organizational, and clerical skills. Applicant must be competent in computer programs used for documents, scheduling, and spreadsheets. The successful candidate should also be friendly, genuine, and relationship based.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration or business administration) OR a combination of education and experience commensurate with the position requirements.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years prior administrative support experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and above-average critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Highly proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Publisher).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and maturity.
  • Must complete Learning Management System Training (CANVAS) within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years prior higher education administrative support experience.
  • Scheduling and event experience.
