Major Duties
The postdoctoral researcher will conduct research related to two DOE funded projects. Duties will include conducting computational code and theoretical model developments, collecting data, processing data, analyzing data, interpreting data, and dissemination of results through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
• Disseminates results through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
• Mentors students in research.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Candidates are required to have a PhD degree in physics and an excellent record of research in the field.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Must be familiar with condensed matter physics.
• Strong research record with publications in peer reviewed journals.
• Ability to mentor students in research
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
• The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to; medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver and more.
• Classification: 2351 / Research Fellow
• The salary range for this classification is: $2427 -$16,773 per month. The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $2427 -$4833, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
• HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
• TEMP: This is a Temporary-renewable position, end date to be determined.
