Responsibilities

Remote (US Based) RN License Required

Analyzes medical records and medical bills for relatedness and causality for clients. Reviews medical records to evaluate care and status of the claimant. Conducts medical journal research. Provides clients with medical evidence preparation and organization. Examines issues, omissions and discrepancies in medical records. Prepares case summaries. This part time role will be paid hourly for time worked. Hours will vary between a minimum of 8 hours per month up to100 hours per month depending on the need of the team.



Qualifications

  • Experience: Mitchell's Medical Claims Consultants are Registered Nurses and will typically have at least 3 years clinical experience and one year as a reviewer.
  • Written Abilities: Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills required.
  • Licenses or Certifications: You must be a registered nurse (RN), minimally with a license in which you reside.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $58,345 - $83,200 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
