Responsibilities:

• Azure Cloud Expertise: Specialize in Azure cloud services, providing expertisein Azure-specific solutions, tools, and technologies. Lead the design andimplementation of Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on efficiency,scalability, and security.
• Advanced Cloud Networking: Utilize advanced knowledge in cloudnetworking to implement, maintain, and support advanced networkarchitectures in Azure. Manage complex networking tasks such as hybridconnectivity, network security groups, application gateways, and trafficmanagement.
• Azure Security and Compliance: Collaborate with Compliance and SecurityEngineering teams to ensure Azure cloud environments adhere to securitybest practices and compliance standards. Leverage Azure-specific securitytools and features like Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall, Azure Sentinel,and Azure Identity services to analyze and remediate at-risk resources tosupport and ensure a zero-attack surface security posture.
• Cost Management in Azure: Utilize Azure Cost Management tools to monitor,analyze, and optimize spending. Develop strategies specifically tailored toAzure to ensure cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Automation and IaC in Azure: Automate cloud operations to increaseefficiency and reduce the possibility of human error.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in Azure: Supportimplementation and support disaster recovery strategies, ensuring minimaldowntime and data loss.
• Technical Leadership in Azure Solutions: Act as a subject matter expert inAzure Cloud. Mentor team members, providing guidance on Azure bestpractices and advanced networking techniques.
• Vendor Collaboration with Azure Focus: Collaborate effectively withMicrosoft Azure representatives and other vendors, ensuring that servicesare aligned with our specific needs and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address reliabilityopportunities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in infrastructure releases and deployments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly,providing effective resolutions and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on manual tasks such as audits, networking, security, and DNS management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically in an Azure Cloud environment.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and environment management.
• AZ-900 Certificate Required, AZ-104 highly preferred
• Knowledge and experience in cloud networking, particularly in Azure.
• Experience in implementing and managing Azure security and compliance measures.
• Proficient in scripting and automation with a focus on Azure tools and services.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud networking, security, and DNS management.
• Proven track record in cloud resource management and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strategic mindset, and obsessive attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex cloud projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $100,000 to $130,000.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
