Responsibilities

  • Serve as a remote demo specialist for Mitchell's Diagnostic and Calibration solutions as well Mitchel's suite of Estimating Products
  • Occasionally go onsite to a customer location to train Mitchell Diagnostics products
  • Responsible for performing precise calibrations demonstrations for all types of Advanced Drivers Assist System (ADAS) across most vehicle makes and models
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in e-learning or other training sessions to stay well-informed with rapidly changing automotive technology
  • Utilize an understanding of the structure and practices of various types of repair facilities, body shops, insurance carriers to facilitate effective working relationships
  • Collaborate with Mitchell's sales team to effectively close Mitchell Diagnostics sales.

  • Represent Mitchell Diagnostics alongside the sales teams at Trade show and Industry events.


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an Automotive Technician
  • OEM scan tool and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge
  • General knowledge in identification of faults, error messages and modules
  • General knowledge in automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience
  • In depth understanding of automotive industry and various manufacturer acronyms and lingo
  • Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical College Graduate, Automotive Field or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Company designated certifications: ASE, I-Car, MECP
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Travel required

Some travel (~20%) within the US and Canada area is expected.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $64,180 - $82,240 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
