Are you an experienced Workday Developer who loves to design, develop and support the next generation of HRIS systems?


Are you passionate about collaborating and working closely with customers to develop innovative and creative technical solutions?


If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL.

We are seeking a Workday Applications Developer with expertise in integrations using the suite of Workday integration tools particularly Studio, BIRT, Cloud Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB), etc.  You will be expected to engage with Workday Community to understand current trends and upcoming feature updates, and provide technical input and recommendations for advancement and improvement.

As a Workday Applications Developer, in the Information Technology Services Department, you will…

  • Troubleshoot issues with functionality and integrations, recommend solutions, build/fix/modify as needed, conduct system test, and implement solutions to integrations, configurations and reports as needed.
  • Plan, design and deliver new Workday integrations by applying Workday Studio, Cloud Connectors, Document Transformations, EIB.

 


Qualifications

You meet our minimum requirements if you...

 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related years of experience in Software Development or Application Support.
  • Have 3+ years of experience with implementation and support of Workday HCM and Payroll, skilled in Workday Studio, Developing complex EIBs, BIRT, Core Connectors, and integrations.
  • Experience with Payroll Configuration, Processes and Reporting as well as Calculated Fields, XML/XSLT, Report Writer,
  • Have excellent customer relationships coupled with oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with system users, internal clients and developers.

 

You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

 

  • Expertise in Workday Payroll and Timekeeping and Absence management configuration, functionality, Payroll connectors (PICOF, PECI), and other integrations.
  • Have experience with Prism, Extend, Workday analytics, Application Program Interface (APIs) SOAP, REST, middleware, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security.
