Packaging Technician II needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in San Diego, CA.
This position is for a major pharmaceutical company, and the ideal candidate would a HS diploma with at least 0-2 years of experience.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2 pm.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the manual assembly of blood screening kits according to manufacturing instructions.
- Direct interaction with internal customers.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain labeling/packaging area and equipment in a clean and functional state.
- Assists in manufacturing instructions and procedural updates.
- Provides scheduling feedback.
- Follows all safety rules; enters cold/frozen environments; maneuvers pallets and equipment; assists in maintaining inventory accuracy; tracks labor hours for process orders; adheres to target manufacturing deadlines.
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma Experience: 0-2 years related experience.
- Good knowledge of ERP system; basic knowledge of GMP requirements; ability to follow oral and written instructions; basic computer knowledge and use of email; basic organizational skills; attention to detail; repetitive standing, walking, bending and lifting; good mathematic skills required; knowledge of manufacturing functionalities; team oriented.
