Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Business Transformation will play a pivotal role in steering the organization through critical transformations to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth. A highly visible and senior role within the business will be responsible for leading and managing operational transformation to enable business operations to accelerate the pace of business improvement to modernize service delivery, reduce costs and improve performance. This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale change initiatives.

Work within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization to drive transformational change of new initiatives, processes, business models or other critical elements of operation. Accountable to ensure close coordination across various departments to align operational execution with organizational objectives. This involves working directly with multiple teams at all levels and across corporate and functional teams. This role acts as a conduit between the organization's strategic ambitions and its operational capabilities to ensure strategic alignment of transformation activities that will deliver value.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business transformation strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and long-term goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to transformation projects, ensuring they deliver value and meet their objectives.
  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Bring together the key strands of technology, continuous improvement, and organizational design to drive transformational changes across the business.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and co-creation with internal and external stakeholders, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the organization.
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with the organization's performance indicators and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the transformation and program management team and other staff involved in the transformation process and promote a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
  • Work within Global Business Services (GBS) to drive transformational change of new initiatives, processes, business models or other critical elements of operation.
  • Accountable to ensure close coordination across various departments to align operational execution with organizational objectives.
  • Strategic alignment of business plans into transformation programs to ensure prioritized sequencing of opportunities that will deliver strategic value.
  • Portfolio, program, and operational focus demonstrating progress against strategic roadmaps through governance, planning, processes, controls, and performance management.
  • Provide hands on support and expertise to ensure large transformation/change initiatives have clearly articulated business cases, objectives, measurable key results & realized value.
  • Program and change management to deliver value on cross functional initiatives.
  • Plan across multiple roadmaps to manage sequencing, dependencies, risks, and milestones throughout execution.
  • Enable adoption of change within program scope through developing, disseminating, and tracking business readiness plans.
  • Leverage knowledge of process and technology capabilities, internal control design, change management, and program/project management to guide organizations in designing and executive effective change initiatives.
  • Lead enterprise performance management practices by preparing and facilitating organizational accountability and goal achievement meetings.
  • Determine appropriate resourcing of staff to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
  • Coach direct reports on performance gaps and career development strategies.
  • Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
  • Act with Urgency - Adopt an agile mentality - frequent iterations, improved speed, resilience.
  • Own the Outcome - Defined milestones, commitments and intended results.



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10-15 years of relevant experiences
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale business transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Proven senior experience in leading and successfully delivering transformation change in an operational context.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Deep understanding of change management principles and experience in implementing change across diverse teams.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously, and manage the associated budget, resources, and risks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management/communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and influence and persuade at all levels.
  • Prior experience working in a shared service or global business services organization.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to expand strategic vision with executive decision-makers.
  • Experience working with resources across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with M&A business integration projects.
  • Experience working with offshore third-party service providers.
  • Delivery experience in healthcare, clinical, medical bill review or property and casualty industry.

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $141,161 - $193,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
