40 Hours | Flexible schedule to meet department needs to include evenings and Saturdays 

Position Summary

Execute the admissions process for new students including daily application processing; reviewing, evaluating, and entering transcripts; identifying and reporting fraudulent applications; and supporting other daily admissions tasks and communication workflows. Support the recruitment department, including events, tours, and outreach. Assist the Coordinator of Admissions and Director of Admissions and Recruitment.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the daily operations of the admissions process
  • Communicate timely and relevant information to prospective and incoming students
  • Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement with students, families, and colleagues
  • Process applications and troubleshoot errors within the system and with other departments
  • Evaluate and enter high school transcripts, test scores, and all relevant data as it applies to student admissions
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students to ensure receipt of all credentials and relevant data
  • Assist with maintaining and updating procedure manuals and department processes
  • Support the management and enrollment of International Students, including tracking student meetings and regular communications to meet International Student requirements
  • Provide customer service at department and college-wide events, including New Student Orientation, Meet MCC, College Fair, Commencement, tours, etc.
  • Assist prospective and new students in completing the admissions process
  • Respond to email inquiries and phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner with appropriate and accurate information
  • Meet with prospective and new students needing assistance with admissions document processing
  • Work collaboratively with others (e.g., colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to positively impact student success
  • Provide back-up to the New Student Enrollment Coaches 
  • Assist with recruitment events both on- and off-campus 
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless communication and services for students
  • Assume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
 
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide excellent technical use of the Admissions and Recruitment Office technology, including CRM and database management systems
  • Support all daily import processes
  • Support training to Admissions & Recruitment staff on Colleague and Recruit functions and updates
  • Support maintenance of Recruit and Colleague Communications Management functions
  • Utilize the ERP, CRM, and report writing software to create, design, and generate reports regarding new student admissions data

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Prior experience with ERP and/or CRM systems
