The Engineering Lead will be an integral part of our growing product team by solving challenging engineering problems quickly and efficiently, as well as creating frameworks and API's. In addition to providing expertise as an agile PHP developer, the Software Engineering Lead will work closely with management and other stakeholders to ensure the development team and technologies work towards the business's goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level programming for applications, relational databases and distributed n-tier application Platforms.
• Design system and application architecture.
• Lead code reviews to ensure the team is writing scalable and efficient code on all applications (backend and frontend), including Talent Acquisition platforms.
• Maintain application Git repos.
• Lead/mentor other team members such as Developers, QAs and DevOps including new-hires and ensuring they maintain software quality standards and technologies - PHP, Symfony, PostgreSQL, Linux, Selenium, Docker, React, NodeJS, and Express.
• Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and / or Frameworks.
• Maintain and apply strong understanding of business practices, including various types of testing (automated, unit, integration, etc.), to effectively fulfill responsibilities while working on multiple high-priority tasks.
• Lead projects through delivery using DevOps tools and best practices.
• Support scrum agile development process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management or a related field plus at least 5 years of progressive experience in an Information Technology occupation;OR

• Alternate Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus at least 5 years of progressive experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained while managing both project development and a technical team.

• Must have experience with the following:
  * 5 years experience designing application architecture;
  * 5 years experience writing PHP code;
  * 5 years experience with Github and Git Version Control;
  * 5 years experience with Symfony framework;
  * 5 years experience working with PostgreSQL;
  * 5 years experience with running Linux servers including diagnosing issues;
  * 5 years experience building Talent Acquisition Platforms;
  * 3 years experience with leadership and mentorship of developers;
  * 3 years experience with Docker;
  * 3 years experience with Frontend development;
  * 2 years experience with automated testing, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Selenium Testing;
  * 2 years experience reviewing PHP code;
  * 2 years experience with DevOps tools Jenkins and Ansible;
  * 2 years experience writing React Code;
  * 2 years experience with NodeJS and Express framework;

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $175,000 to $185,000 per year

Remote: Position is remote and individual may work from anywhere in the U.S.
