Full Time / Part Time Part Time Job Type Adjunct Reports To Chair, History and Social Sciences Position Summary

Bryant University, a nationally recognized leader in higher education, is currently recruiting for Adjunct teaching opportunities for the spring, 2021 semester. Classes meet at our campus in Smithfield, RI. The spring semester starts Monday, February 1st 2020.

Courses at Bryant University in the spring of 2021 will be taught in the Hy-Flex format that combines in person and online learning.

This course will address both the broader issues of government control of international business and the process of doing business overseas. It will compare the unique culture and legal systems of the United States, Europe, Japan and the Middle East. In addition, the course will focus on the mechanics of doing business overseas under international agreements such as GATT, NAFTA and the European Union.

We are seeking adjunct faculty for the following courses:
  • International Business Law. Classes meet T/R 11:10am – 12:25pm
  • International Business Law. Classes meet T/R 9:35am – 10:50am
  • International Business Law. Class meets T 6:55pm – 9:30pm

Principal Accountabilities

This position includes teaching at the undergraduate level as well as contributing to student growth and development through active involvement in student related co-curricular activities.

Qualifications

  • J.D. degree required, other advanced degrees in a related field preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Based on University procedures, adjunct faculty are typically limited to teaching no more than two classes per semester.
