The School of Health, Wellness and Human Services invites applications for Clinical Instructors in the Surgical Technology program. Clinical instructors accompany students during their clinical rotations at local acute care facilities. Major responsibilities include:
Monitor and assist students in clinical settings.
Plan and organize daily room/case assignments.
Assess students' skills, knowledge and behavior in the clinical setting.
Communicate with preceptors, OR management team and clinical coordinator.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Certification as Surgical Technician with minimum three years of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated connections with local healthcare organizations.
Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
Additional Information:
Current hourly rate is $45.53. Rates for 24-25 are not available at this time.
