Position Overview

This strong leader will support a wide array of marketing functions and is a highly self-directed individual. As a senior marketing coordinator, you will work in a group setting and/or independently to lead a variety of pursuits, proposals, SOQs, and short list interview preparation activities, as well as collaborate with teammates on more complex sales and marketing projects and programs. The senior marketing coordinator works closely with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership both locally and across the country.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creation of persuasive proposals, presentations, and marketing materials, which includes managing the planning and development of content, contributing information and drafting appropriate sections, editing text for clarity and consistency, creating necessary graphics, and preparing final documents for submission.
  • Coordinate additional marketing activities which may include advertising, direct mailing, event planning, award submissions, website updates, and trade shows.
  • Develop and edit project descriptions, resumes, press releases, and other marketing materials.
  • Support development of marketing and sales strategy, and work with regional departments to identify specific marketplace needs.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings/debriefs as necessary.
  • Maintenance of systems and tools to promote overall efficiency and effectiveness
  • Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
  • Communicate incidents, accidents, near misses, potential hazards, and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor or the Health and Safety Department as soon as identified.

Skills/Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or English, with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience
  • Practical hands-on experience with the creation and coordination of proposals desired
  • Superior writing, editing, and document formatting skills, as well as close attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in a team environment-often under multiple tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and all Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior knowledge of architecture and engineering services a plus, but not a requirement

Estimated Compensation Range: $60,000 - $100,000/year*

*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
