Essential Job Duties:
This project will entail: helping to draft results letters for community report back; working with statisticians to update code to prepare graphs for each individual and community; overseeing the accuracy and quality of report back materials; supporting IRB submission of report back materials; coordinating the printing and mailing of letters to all study participants; organizing and supporting community-wide webinars and individual in-person community meetings in three regions of the Cape Fear River Basin.

Required Qualifications:
  • Masters level with 1 year of experience, or person seeking a Masters in Public Health or Health Education. Must be detail-oriented and be willing to coordinate the effort of multiple people to plan study events and to develop and disseminate project materials. Will require working at NC State and some evening travel.
  • Leadership skills and proven track record of accountability

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Experience with event planning/coordination and interest in community-engaged research is a plus.


Required License or Certification

NC Drivers License is required, as this position requires traveling.
