Job Description

Work part-time as adjunct instructor for the Career Connection Academy teaching English language Acquisition (ELA) classes, 20 hours a week. Evening class times (5-8 PM), Monday through Thursday, with flex time for lesson planning. Classes occur on site at GCCCA on the Garden City Community College campus.

Position involves teaching students with a range from low to high levels of English proficiency and from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills as well as a desire to work collaboratively in a team are required. Wages of 18.00 per hour for instructors available. Position does not include fringe benefits. Requires paid training and a bachelor’s degree. Educational experience preferred. Bilingual skills preferred but not required. Start ASAP after selection. Position open until filled.
