Essential Job Duties
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Executive Support:
- Managing an active calendar of appointments
- Plan and arrange travel for the Executive Director and ensure that travel authorizations and reimbursements are made in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Gathers data and generates reports for Directors and staff
Program Support:
- Help resolve, refer or triage inquiries as needed.
- Composes and prepares communications using thorough knowledge of NC LIVE process and procedures.
- Processes incoming and outgoing invoices and payments, ensuring that payments are in line with University and Department policies.
- Plan and coordinate events, conferences, program and meetings.
Additionally you will serve as a liaison to the Libraries’ Human Resources and Finance and Business operations.

- Knowledge of administrative office support processes and protocol
- Demonstrated experience using various office and productivity tools, including word processing, email, web browsers, and spreadsheets or databases
- Proven ability to meet high service standards in all interactions (in-person, by telephone, via email or online)
- Attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills; strong grammatical skills and ability to compose, edit, and proofread
- Ability to foster an environment of belonging and well-being
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and explain a wide variety of policies and procedures, varying from basic to complex, to the public, and to exercise independent judgment
- Demonstrated ability to locate, analyze, and interpret data contained in complex online systems
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of college coursework
Required License or Certification
Valid NC Driver's License required
