Summary of Position

Under the direction of the Project Director III, the Project Director I is responsible for the administration and coordination of grant funded NH DHHS BHS project activities including scheduling, planning and conducting ongoing monitoring reviews, writing outcomes reports and completing follow up.

1. Master’s degree in appropriate academic discipline and three years of experience related to project specialization, or bachelor’s degree in appropriate academic discipline and five years of experience related to project specialization.
2. Ability to design, conduct, and evaluate independent research.
3. High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work with diverse constituencies.
4. Willingness to travel as required in project area.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and older adults.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Write outcomes report, share results with appropriate stakeholders, and complete follow up, including the validation of required remediation.

  • In collaboration with stakeholder workgroups, facilitate the development of templates, tools, and resources to support the ongoing project work.

  • Develop, coordinate and/or conduct training to disseminate information related to HCBS expectations, ongoing monitoring, and the implementation strategies related to ongoing monitoring.

  • Maintain data collection requirements, including the list of settings that have completed an onsite visit, status of onsite visits, remediation expectations and follow up.

  • Participate in project meetings, including the ongoing monitoring teams at BDS, BEAS, IOD project team, and the Advisory Task Force.

Duty/Responsibility

  • Prepare and disseminate reports and other written materials on a regular basis to NH DHHS Advisory Task Force, and other stakeholders.

  • Provide technical assistance to providers related to ongoing monitoring efforts, including the New Provider process.
