To design such a system requires excellent fundamentals in wireless systems and communications theory as well as sound programming practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Intuitive understanding in one or all of the following areas: RF Transceiver Blocks, Communications theory, RF Parameters
  • Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements
  • Ability to read and write clean, clear, efficient and understandable code in one or more relevant programming languages (C, C++, Python)
  • Critical problem solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to break down complex problems and evaluate tradeoffs between proposed solutions
  • Energy and strive to thrive in a start-up like environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Description

As an RF Systems integration engineer, you will be engaged in the design validation for different wireless technologies right from the prototyping phase to mass production. There will be involved in the design of calibration routines and test algorithms and give to a multi faceted test SW suite. You will collaborate with chipset manufacturers, test equipment vendors as well as our in-house antenna and RFHW design teams to analyze wireless performance data and solve the plethora of technical challenges it takes to deploy ground-breaking wireless features with outstanding quality.

Education & Experience

BSEE (or relevant major) required. MSEE preferred

Additional Requirements

  • - 3+ Years of industry work experience or equivalent
  • - Knowledgable of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles
  • - Recent experience in developing test solutions for current and upcoming wireless RF standards (e.g. WiFi 802.11xx, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G, NFC, UWB)
  • - Recent experience developing new software applications or drivers
  • - Familiarity with tools that enable high volume manufacturing of these technologies
  • - Experience with data analytics is a plus


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,219.20 and $198,100.00 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
