Essential Job Duties
The Sr. Associate Athletics Director for External Relations leads the department’s efforts in driving revenue and engaging donors and fans. The position is responsible for the management of the Fan Experience & Marketing, Ticket Operations, Ticket Sales & Service, Digital Strategy, Name, Image and Likeness, and Data Analytics units.
Primary responsibilities include the following:

- Oversight of revenue generation units of fan experience & marketing, ticket operations, ticket sales & service, and digital strategy
- Oversight of data analytics unit and the athletics data hub
- Oversight of the Name, Image and Likeness integration strategy and external operation
- Supervision of six direct reports and their staff & allocation of staffing resources
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive external plans inclusive of several external units. This also includes advising support staff and coaches on strategies.
- Establish annual revenue goals and forecasts
- Manage and oversee the relationship with outside vendors, the Wolfpack Club, Learfield, Paciolan, Sidearm, etc.
- Responsible for managing operating budgets for all units under supervision
- Promote effective communication with numerous constituent groups both internally and externally to the Department of Athletics and University
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, best practices, and new revenue opportunities
- Represent the Department of Athletics on designated committees
- Sport supervision for select team(s)
- Other duties as directed by the department
Other Responsibilities

Minimum Education and Experience
Requires possession of post baccalaureate credentials or equivalent independent experience in comparable instructional or educational activities.
Other Required Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years of previous experience working with revenue generating units at a Division I school.
- Computer competency
- Supervisory and managerial skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills

- Master’s degree preferred.
