What to Expect
This role will be expected to contribute on commercial solar job sites. Job role will support across-functional team of ~25 members handling all trades required to get thework done, together. Team will be expected to push the limits of construction technology and techniques, and as such will have direct feedback contact with designers, project managers, and business developers related to the program. Skills in all areas of electrical are not necessarily required but the job can and will involve a variety of electrical disciplines. A strong candidate will be open minded, and mission driven.
What You'll Do
  • Display a positive attitude and practice good work ethic reflective of the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company
  • Express leadership and being proactive when handed new projects, experience in tracking material, keeping the job sites clean and organized for efficiency and safety purpose
  • Consulting manuals, read, interpret, and use complex electrical schematics and blueprints to plan work scopes, install requested improvements, and troubleshoot and correct problems
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback, ability to use technology i.e. basic computer literacy
  • Additional duties required as needed, attend new hire training as well as ongoing training sessions and weekly team meetings on new products, installation methodology and safety
  • Maintain a clean job site while delivering exceptional customer experience at each installation
  • Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC) including layout and assist in the assembly of solar modules / array, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment
What You'll Bring
  • 1 year min experience leading a solar crew
  • Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools as well as materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc
  • Commercial solar experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success
  • Travel between projects is mandatory and will vary dependent on business needs, employees must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, several times a year to various locations within the US
  • Valid Driver's License required

    Expected Compensation

    $19.30 - $46.28/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
